First part of the plan went well and got to Tinkers Park just before opening - very enjoyable event with a great turnout and a good number of engines new to me. The downside of planning to go to St Albans in the afternoon was that it meant leaving before engines went into the ring and a good few are parked quite close which made getting photos a bit tricky.
