Abbey Hill 1 May 2017

Last stop of the Weekend was Abbey Hill on the way back to Devon from Sunday in Norfolk. From discussions had with people there think we had the best of the weekend weather in Somerset, as although it was a bit cloudy it was mainly bright and dry.  Given that this is relatively close to home it was nice to see a couple of engines not seen before.  Overall a very good couple of hours spent here.

Bressingham Heritage Steam Gala 30 April 2017

After Stradsett this morning onto Bressingham for the afternoon.  Weather was nice and bright but still a bit chilly in the wind.  I hadn't been here for decades and was good to go back round the site.  Nice selection of visiting engines especially the Clayton & Shuttleworth wood burning portable back from Malaysia.
